A bh named Deenos from the SEA guild comes to my house. I ask if he is looking for me, he says yes, i come outside and he hops on his bike and rides off. I give him a tell i am ready to fight and i get nothing back. Are most respec bh going to be this much of a coward? I dont get it, i did what a true bh would want me to do and nothing happens. What do u real bh think about actions like this?

He did the CORRECT thing. You were ready for him so he got on his bike and left. That is the EXACT thing I would have done. You jedi must think all BH's are stupid, do you reallythink a knowledgeable BH is going to attack you when you are there fully buffed, full of food, and ready to fight?

Cmon now bro...wake up and smell what you are shoveling.

a BHs clear and only advantage is first strike. Regardless if he gets the first shot off or not, if you're ready and know he's about to attack, it completely nullifies the BHs ONLY advantage over you. Even though it would have been cool to have some PvP, I'm sure this BH did the right thing. Watch your back, he probably still holds your mission.

I see the idea behind leaving, since surprise is a valuable tool. However I personally will fight anyway as I can always use the pvp practice. I'm not a respec, but still fairly new to this. So far 3 Jedi missions have been jedi masters who I found, and fought. Only one I caught by surprise, but ti didnt help me. Still quite fun and I really value the practice at pvp.

he took suprise out of the fight when drove up to my door and said he was hunting me. didnt think he was worried about it since he did that. so that mistake was his. dont blame the jedi for out thinking the bh. so, if a jedi runs he is a coward ad i f a bh runs he is smart. hmmmm. trying to find the logic in that. how about if a jedi fights he is brave and if a bh runs he is a coward.... i like that one better. Or maybe, if a jedi runs he is smart and if the bh tries to talk him out of a house he is waisting his time? sounds even better.

Every situation is different, however in most cases a BH runs away if he doesn't have the element of surprise or if he screwed up his alpha attack. Both BH's and Jedi's have their own methos of attack and of defense. If I remember correctly, jedi's run away during a fight moreso than BH's. (once the fight gets going) Not to mention when jedi's feel that they are losing they will cloak and run and then regen and come back. Can a BH do this? Not in this lifetime, nor the next. The ONLY advantage we BH have is to be able to attack jedi when we want to. On our terms. The element of surprise. Other than that, a full templated knight thats a MLS/MDef will beat most BH 1 vs 1 with all the buffs, etc, unless the BH is very experienced.

Let's not turn this into a flame war, you complained about a BH that left the scene. We all stated that what he did was probably a smart move because you were ready for him. Nuff said.

As a casual player, i dont call Jedi cowardsfor running. I imagine if I had put in all that time grinding, I'd try my best to preserve my exp too. Unless they afk grind, then it's not so much a loss. Just my opinion. But then again, if I didnt want to fight bh's, I'd probably avoid making my self visible on the terminals, but as I dont have a jedi character, that may be much harder than it sounds.

Would you go away.

Who cares if the guy came to your house and left? You just upset you didn't get your 30 seconds of "fun" by destroying someone that has no chance of defeating you?

He could havebeen checking to see if you were AFK or a House sitter, once you came out he got his answer. Not partaking in an unbalanced fight on the terms of the one whohas the advantage is not "cowardess", it's smart.

Considering he had no idea what your power level was when he gets the mission, once he saw you where Level 80 ( and thus over powered due purely to your template) he moved on.

If a Jedi ever knew I was coming, I'd leave. Fighting a Jedi if he's fully ready for it is suicide nowadays... you don't know if the guy is a full temp or a first-week noob.

I think he did well, and I think it's rather funny. The mark is not to decide when the fight occurs ; the mark has lost this freedom the day he got a bounty on his head. The bounty hunter has this freedom of choice. If you want to be able to decide when to fight, do not get a bounty on your head.
