There isn't.
As a BH they fight on your terms. If they don't like it thats just tough. If they send hate tells /addignore.
ahh... i just figured the first question out this pastweek.
The only way this really makes a difference is if your guilded. There are guilds within the game that frown upon this and will report you to your guild leader. The guild leader may take action upon you for putting the guild at risk of getting kicked out of the allience. I know what your thinking...so what.
so heres the deal in layman terms ....this is not a game rule...just player rules.
The "Guilds" within the game have formed ONE GOVERNING side. RebOr Imp. One of the rules in thisallience is that no guilded BH is allowed to hunt its own faction because it takes away from the overall streangth ofthe saidside. Thisis not one singel guild, but many.
of course...everyone chooses a side or else you dont get all the cool quests and fancy loot. In this case you may want to consider an all BH guild like the BHA (Bounty Hunter Allience) where it doesnt really matter what kind of jedi you kill (last time i knew)as long as you do just that.
Hmmmm
There are no rules.... You are killing them not buying them a cup of tea and taking them to the movies...

The above is not the case ..... Most guilded BH will kill either side.. Lets face it when you get your mission and spend all the time getting to the target, you are not going to back down,

LOL There is no rulset. The only one that would even come close to a "rule" would be the Hunt your own faction. And that is still a choice the the BH makes. Other than that....Have at it, and kill some Jedi
DEMAND a Jedi Free Server!!

a) If you are guilded and your guild is very active PvP wise, it more than likely has a "no same faction hunting" rule since in the end it weakens the Jedi fighting on its side. If you violate it, be prepared to be kicked out of the guild. Moreover, bounty hunting might get you banned from the Jedi's hometown, same-faction hunting is generally looked down upon and word will spread if you are doing it, resulting in you being banned from factioned crafters and put on "ban on sight" lists. See the result here. Generally, hunting both factions is not a good idea - hunt only same faction or hunt only opposing faction, but dont make 100% of the factions mad at you.
b) no rule against that
c) no rule against that

yeah i wanted to point you to the same thread eskona did.
There are no rules like that. But you need to understand that the way you act will have consequences. Whats so hard to understand about this? Kinda common sense isnt it?
