Ok this is it. I've almost had it with this now and am about to NEVER hunt jedi again....
This "knockdown bug" as I like to call it is getting OUT OF HAND! Every time i fight a jedi, they knock me down, and i get the msg saying "can not KD recover while KD'ed". And this is NOT becuase i am dizzy. this is simply a bug. Today took the cake when i fought a jedi and he would have been dead in about 5 min the was going...ONLY, he knocked me over and i could not get up for 20 seconds!!!!! He was SOOO weak however, that he wasn't hurting me enough and i get up with 1/4 life left and heal to 2/3rds and he does it again! for anotehr 20 seconds!!!!! Same thing happened, i get up with an ounce of life left and he does it again!!! and i can't get up again!!! for another 20 seconds....Needless to say i died that time, and he proceeds to talk trash.
I am gettign SICK of jedi thinking they are better than me because i can't get up from this stupid bug. I have died about 30 out of the last 45 hunts from this bug. It needs to get fixed. I have a good char (MCM, MBH, Pistoleer 0004) and a great weap...and i am sick of (what would be VERY easy jedi kills) jedi laughing and not even REALIZing that they they beat me because i can't get up. I can't explain to u how frustrating this is.
Does anyone else have this problem? Or does SOE just like making me get pissed the @#$%@#$ off?

I've never had this problem...I get knocked down a lot and can always pop right back up. You may want to create a macro that does a....
/dump;
/knockdownrecovery
Instead of just hitting the knock down recovery quick key or whatever. Use the macro as your knock down recovery, that way it dumps any commands in the queue, such as burst run, other state recoverys, etc.
I'm not sure that is the actual problem, but you may try it. Like I said, I always pop right up, so I'm not sure what is going on with your toon.

lol i dont care whos better than me. All im saying is that i've soloed quite a few 226k's by myself. and im sick of these like 200k and 180ks thinking they are tough stuff.
Besides that though...this bug is just plain annoying and honestly makes PvP almost impossible. So whats the point of PvP if i KNOW i can't get up and what not. PvP is what i enjoy most on this game and with this bug all it makes me want to do is cancel my subscription

Someone in game told me (actually it was a jedi that just killed me after my hunt)...but he told me that it was a bug and that u needed to make a macro that does /kneel /stand. Well that worked for a while actually....well sometimes anyway...
...but now with publish 21 i am getting KDed for even longer now!! This is a serious problem.
I will try that "dump" macro. What is the ACTUAL command for KD recover. is it /knockdownrecovery?

Has only happened to me once. I was fighting quite a long battle with a Jedi back during one of my first hunts. I had gotten up from KD several times then all of a sudden I had the same thing happen and lost. Since it hasn't happened a lot since then I tend to think I was hitting the button too muchor something. /shrug

Since i have died (no kidding) about 35+ times to this bug. I have tried ALL SORTS of stuff to get around it. I have tried hitting the button slowly...tried hitting it once...even tried spamming the button so hard i almost broke my F key HAHAHA. And ya know what...its random when i get up. Usually takes me between 1-15seconds to recover. So its a nice lottery for me to see if im gunna die to some weak jedi. I love it.
I really need to get this fixed some how. I also have reported this bug in-game. No word back.

I'm not sure off the top of my head what the /slash command is for knock down recovery, but if you type it in your bar you'll find out.
Um....yeah, if you hit the button too much it may not let you recover. So, if you do the /dump then the knock down recovery that may help out.
Again though, I'm not totally sure about that. I never have a problem getting up, but the /dump command works well for me when I hit something like burst run and it does it's little lag out....so I hit my /dump macro then the burst run again and it works fine...may work the same for KD recovery.

You most likely will never see a response to a /bug ticket in game. Just have to keep watching the dev notes and hope they address whatever is causing it to happen. I know it happens to other people too so you aren't alone.
