OK I have a suit of RIS wit 5840 stats all around. I was told to get an 8000 energy resist suit of Ubese. Ok, only problem is I cant use Recon armor. So I look around, I see an AS saying he his a 7000+ energy resist suit of RIS armor in the making. Now I have 2 problems, I dont wanna spend the money for the new suit of RIS (very expensive). My second problem is that my RIS armor already has +20 Carbine Acc on it Healing Efficiency +10, Carbine Speed +9, and Carbine Defense +5. Now I bought a Healing Efficiency +13 AA and Carbine Speed +5 AA which could be put on this new set of armor (if I buy one). My question is, could I survive fighting full temp jedis and such with my current set of armor (if I get everything up to +25) along with a +2000 Health Crystal and Foods. OR should I get a new suit of 7000+ Energy Resist armor (not necessarily the RIS, if he can get RIS up to that I'm sure he can get any of his Battle Suits up to that with the right resources)
PLEASE HELP ME!!

Stick with what you got. I have a RIS suit with 5700 to all stats and was able to hang in a fight. just get PSG to improve energy protection. Some people make them with +10 General range accuracy.

1- PSG's don't block LS
2- 7000NRG is much better than 5800
3- GET ARMOR BREAK SLICES! They make all the difference in the world!

The actual % difference between 5700 and 7000 is all that much, but still if you had the credits I'd recomend the 7000 suit.
If you go up against a jedi with out having your armour sliced to reduce AB, then you'll die, fast.
Dont bother with PSG's they do nothing against jedi. They only protect against ranged ENERGY attacks. Jedi use Melee energy attacks and Ranged Kinetic, so a PSG wont help you what so ever.

I'm sure that you could survive just fine with your current armor - you just won't be able to do it as well as you could with the higher resists. The best thing to tell you is give it a shot and find out. Also I'd like to mention that PSGs in fact DO NOT protect against Lightsaber attacks. While it is true that they offer Energy protection, they only offer protection against ranged attacks. All Lightsaber attacks (even throw) count as melee and therefore completely bypass PSGs.
