what's the min damage on your gun?

did you use aim?

what other foods were you using?

how did the jedi get to you so fast?

are you sure the melee defense food isn't still bugged?

is your armor sliced to reduce armor break effectiveness?

Im going to assume your hunting full templates, well it looks as though your doing all the right food combos and have all the right gear but it might be your tactics. If they are grinding check to see if they are an enhancer (seems to be the new FotM) and if they are tanking. Most enhancers after the lair will spam channel to get their force back, channel takes health and turns it into force so wait to see if their health goes under 500 then bam collect your bounty.

Also, watch for like when they are dueling or are getting the crap beat out of them by some MOB. Maybe check to see if they have a psg when you are shooting them, if they do try and switch to a kinetic rifle (I like to use the hyper rifle). Try to get your armor sliced and your gun sliced too. Get some SAC PuP's if you go through action fast and if you dont get some speed PuPs. Make sure you have doctor buffs (mainly adrenal) and get some foods that help with terrain nego, action regen, mind regen (for heals), maybe some health stuff (brandy seems to take care of all of this and travel wafers? work for moving a bit faster), and synthsteak for a last ditch effort to stay alive. Other than that it seems your doing it all right and also practice with jedi friends or just think of strategies that might work for certain situations.

ok..... never been a bh in the 15 months ive played swg...reactivated old account..grinded it out..btw luv the cl 80's npc marks..lol..cl 83 19k ham npc mark..imagine my surprise :0..anyways i am now MBH/MR/4000 cm..got me a 1200 dmg laser rifle..(with pup)..recon armor with 7k energy resists and a psg..i get doc buffs..load up with pvp foods..to include veg (101 melee def) and spice..after 4 missions and 4 probe launches that tells me my mark is on kash..my 5th mission tells memy markis on dant. I track him down..he is in a grp grinding out bol missions..i wait till they kill the last bol..mark is still at like 3/4 health..when i sniper shot/kd/startle shot/crit shot..by this time he is 1/2 health..he charges me..i stand up and run opposite dir shooting whole time..i land a snare..last 2 secs he saber throws..roots me..hits melike 4 or 5 times and dbs me.

while im standing outside the clone center i look at my combat logs..i am hitting him for a average of 300pts...he is hitting me for average 900 pts?

ok...figure there is something special about this mark..his bounty was 49k..shrug it off..couple more kash mission aborts then get a 46k mission and head out again. this time to shuttleport where mark is in a jedi gank squad beating up other jedi..was like 20 jedi in moenia sp at that moment. my mark only had a few jedi buffs on..figure she had used up alot of force fighting other jedi..i use my food and kd/startle shot/crit/snare start kiting...jedi is at 3/4 health roots me...i actualy last for like 30secs ths time spaming my cm heals..but then wack..........at the clone center again ..i look at my combat logs..again im hitting for 300pts on average..and again the jedi is hitting for average 900 with a few hits over 1000.

rinse repeat for 8 more fights (im kinda stubborn)... all my gear is new..meaning in good condition..spent an hour finding out right food combos to use..used up all my savings to get that rifle..have 7k energy resists..im new to bh..is there something im missing?...is there some trick im not using?...after all the hassle to find a mark not on kash...tracking them..waiting for the right moment...just to get beat down? time and again?....whats the deal?

rofl the payouts you see on the terminals now aren't indicitve of what level the jedi is at I had a 50k boutny that was a farely new jedi and I have had 46k missions that were fully templated. They remander of the old payout is paid upon compleation of the contract I.E. kill a full templated jedi and you will get 50k from the terminal plus a bouns that will pay what the old missions did. As the deal with the psg it no longer works against saber attacks, they count as melee attacks and psgs only work agains ranged, and actaully the imp proto types are nice to have since they add +10 to ranged and melee accuracy... also jedi can now wear psgs. plus since you can't tell anything about the skill of the jedi anymore from the payout on the terminal it is very possiable you went up against 2 full templates

lol..aye could of been..but is it suppose to be this hard?..how is a predator suppose to keep the population of his prey down when the predator only wins 1 in 10 fights..and that one was afk?

there are so many jedi runnng around....who is the real hunter and who is the hunted?

a jedi with all or a good deal of LS will deal this amt of dmg if he armor breaks you. word to the wise: if you get rooted, expect an armor break and some heavy hits. when i get rooted i use disarm shot, then take some dmg mitigation food and focus on healing while he swings away...

no. his problem is that his armor is not sliced for armor break. get all of it sliced for 75% armor break protection and you'll see a HUGE improvement. it's better to wear mabari since you only have to slice 3 pieces. also, get all 3 of those pieces ADK'd so you don't waste money buying a new set and bothering to get it sliced.

First, switch from 4000 to 0004 cm, make them stay put and get some distance between you. You won't go toe to toe with a jedi, while you have at least +140 to melee def just with your template and even with food, you'll still lose. You're playing a ranged char, make sure you use that to your full potential. kd's, paralyze and run, dots, these are your friends... Stay away from them and your W column will increase. Pick up the first healing efficency line with your extra 2 points, make sure to rely on 1200+ stims/ruby b as complements to your healing arsenal, and pay attention to their buff timers/secondary bars when you can. Run them out of mind/force, that's the key to beating them today...

You're playing the underdog bud. Learn to play it well or get used to losing, that's the simple facts. Use every trick you can muster, you control the fight... and good luck...

I had my first jedi mark tonight and lost miserably as well. I was out so fast that I'm a little embarresed to say Im a MBH....At any rate, I did notice one thing tonight. My mark (after droppinga Kash mission) was on Dant hunting pickets. When I sent out a seeker droid I told it to identify target. Not only did this give me his name, but it also told me he was a <cough> padawan, which further adds to the humiliation. But, I suppose that if you're really against fighting a full template (like I will be from now on) then use your seeker droid to determine what type of jedi you're facing. Long story short, I got owned. To hunt jedi now, it seems that you will really have to focus on the technical details of the fight. More so then I gave credit for. These guys are CL 80 and THEN you add on jedi skills. You better bring your 'A' game for even the most "trivial" of jedi's.
