So continue to hunt your marks like you did before good loot dropped, and I'll be happy to take the loot off of your hands...

Jeesh... some people will complain about anything. As suggested above, continue to hunt Jedi and ignore the NPC missions. There are a lot of BH's that love this change.

yeah, this patch did nothing to staop you from taking player bounties... so what are you complaining about?

you dont want to loot? dont.... there are even MORE jedi to choose from now

wait about 2 months when they completely take out player bounties... then we can all join together and complain, haha

It's not just the old school BHs, it's also those of us who have limited playing time who can't make 300 million a week playing 15 hours a day because we have a family and a job. I'm sorry but I see this as a huge step in the right direction. Finally, the little guy might be able to move forward in this game and get better gear thus creating a better game experience for themselves. For once, SOE did something to get me excited about the game again.

Oh, and Fred Sanford wasn't a scavenger he was a junk dealer. I doubt he had any +18 Ranged Accuracy AAs or he woulda pwned Julio's Goat with those hub caps laying in his front yard.

I think some are missing the intent of the original poster.

There are alot of folks who feel the new BH loot is a backhanded attempt to discourage BH's away from PvP.

Perception can be seen as this:

Devs catering to Jedi=Making anonymous priced missions so BH's dont hunt hunt padddies

Not hunting paddies=Content for Knights and less paddy victims

Content for Knights=BH's lose alot more, cant afford to replace food eaten/decayed equipment

Financially broke BH=A need to replace the bounty money previously made by BH's

**The result is to turn BH into a bunch of loot farmers to discourage PvP** This is to keep the mass of jedi happy so they keep spending their $15/month at SOE.

Jedi is THE big selling point for this game...just look at the commercials. The Jedi profession is what is bringing in money for SOE.

When SOE implmented the mass Jedi influx the excuse was that "fun was more important over continuity."

So is it really that much of a stretch to beleive " money is more important thatn fun"?

For those of you who are long time, tried and true Jedi Hunters...this sux.

Like the original poster is communicating, I didnt become a BH to be a loot farmer. I joined this game to be a BH and to be a Jedi Hunter. Not to be a junk dealer. There are many out there that would like to make their living hunting Jedi instead of being a professional looter to support a HOBBY (Jedi Hunting) I dont expect to get rich but I would like to make enough to support my equipment and supply usage without having to scavange.

Im not against the new loot at all, but what makes me angry is that SOE is trying to nueter us because its good for business.

I've never hunted Jedi, but to me this makes no sense. If you want to hunt Jedi, then hunt Jedi. No one is stopping you. Don't take the NPC missions. Seems pretty simple to me.

I hear what you're saying but each and everyone of us still has a choice to do either one. Not everyone is cut out to hunt Jedi. This just gives someone with a lack of PvP skill the chance to be a BH without having to hunt Jedi. I agree that this is probably a backhanded attempt to curb the Jedi hunting but at present, we're still able to do so if we so wish. I, personally, will continue to hunt Jedi but this other avenue allows me to upgrade my equipment without spending 50 trillion credits on attachments and the like. Upgraded equipment=more success vs jedi, just my opinion.
