Thread: Template Advice Please

Ok, this template is for fighting Canyon Krayt/Giant CanyonKrayt and any other top PVE mobs. I'm a TKM-Master Swordsman-Master Brawler as of now. Should I drop master swordsman for master rifleman since they can do damage every 1 secand great weapons? What is the speed cap on master swordsman by the way? If I do drop swordsman for rifleman, the only probably I will have is to give up master brawler, which would suck.. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

i think its bether to drop MTK, since both Master swordsman and master rifleman have good mind hits/shots! then you can fockus on mind! i think thats the best way to go for a PvE fighter

But I don't want to drop TKM, that's the first thing I ever wanted to master Had it since august, lol.

Yea, I know TKM has an eye hit, but it doesn't do that much damage. I'm just really tired of tanking krayts and others getting loots from all my work. I know they are out damaging me, but still, if I'm tanking for them, I should get some recognition.. Like today, me and a guildmate were fighting a giant canyon krayt, my friend gets slayed, so loses his buffs. So, now it's basically just me tanking and trying to outdamage a master rifleman, who just sits back and hits the krayt with high damage over and over. That said, I'm trying to figure out a way to tank and outdamage others. But I want to keep TKM. So, I thought about getting Master rifleman and keeping TKM, but I don't have the skill pts to keep master brawler(20 sec delay really comes in handy when tanking krayt)

Not so much after the next patch. Word is they are making it so that Warcry will delay only until the target is attacked again. Therefore, you could use it to get away, but not to get 20 seconds of free hits on the target. I am unclear as to whether someone else attacking it will break the delay and allow it to attack you again, but definitely the moment you hit it again after the warcry, the delay is gone.

Well, that is no good. The devs are crazy, that will make the entire usage of warcry useless.. I think it will. When you're in a group or pa it won't be worth anything, as soon as you delay, someone will attack, and the delay will end.. plain useless..]

wel, you have to deside whant you whant to do the best PvE Template for you is taking swordsman and rifleman.


Swordsman is bether in PvE, and TKM is bether in PvP

Warcry will still have its uses, it'll just be more of a crowd control skill rather than what it is now... a cheap skill that really isn't realistic at all.


If you've ever been hit with a warcry2 in pvp, you know how annoying it can be. It really makes no sense how you can run around for 20 seconds, but can't do anything else while your opponent(s) beat you to a pulp. The change will make it more of strategical move, which imo it should be. It'll give you time to heal yourself and prepare your next wave of attacks, or give you some time to escape if the warcry followed a knockdown.

Thanks for the advice. I really don't want to give up TKM though.. so, I guess I will just stick with master swordsman instead of master rifleman, but I did think about taking up fencer, and just being a TKM-Master Brawler-Master Fencer. Not sure how good that would be for pve though, since my main goal is trying to solo any krayt as best as I can.

Ok, Ive done my pistoleer grind and am currently master doc/pistoleer. Next im doing smuggler.

I know that holding on to part of pistoleer while doing smuggler will help me get through x0x0 faster but i want to know what parts of pistoleer would suit me best to get through it, i want to hold on to 0444 doc, so ill get to keep 2 branches of pistoleer as i progress through smugg. should i hold on to 0044, or 4004 pistoleer?


or any other suggestions, thanks..

Fanshot is essential for quick pistol xp grinding. So, either go 0440 for the accuracy or 0044 for the speed. The jury's out as to which of these is better.

Master Doctor and Master Swordsman, FS Ranged Defense, Melee Defense, Melee Accuracy, and Healing columns completed. Melee Speed two boxes done.

Zero......Nada Skill Points!


Do I drop Master Doctor? Do I drop Master Swordman? Which columns of which do I drop to get 6 more skills points. Decisions, decisions.

How do I tell what skill I am maxed out in and can afford to drop without losing talent?
